"I would like to say how much this newsletter has helped me learn how to take the correct care of my beautiful fish. I thought fish were easy- but I had it it up all wrong. A few weeks ago I was sure my fish of one year was going to die. He had become so pale and dull, stopped eating and was very thin and weak, he just sat at the bottom of the tank looking like he had given up on life. After subscribing to the newsletter I discovered that I had set up an unhealthy environment for my fish. I gave him a salt bath treatment and moved him to a larger more suitable tank. The result was instant. Within days he perked up and started eating and now a month later his colours have returned and he is a beautiful fish again. Thank you Betta Fish Secrets - you saved my little fishes life."

"I recently got a betta fish, and I had no idea how to properly take care of him. I decided to google information about the betta fish, and came across the website, www.bettafishcenter.com. I decided to sign up for the newsletter before buying any book. I soon received my first tip. It was very quick, and easy to understand. Everything in the newsletter was so helpful! I learned a lot about how to keep my fish healthy. And I expect him to live a long, happy life, thanks to the information I received in the newsletter. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family."

"I subscribed to your "Betta Fish Secrets" newsletter and I can honestly say that the daily information gave me a lot more insight and knowledge about providing a proper home and health for my Bettas. I was given two Bettas as a gift, and I was weary about keeping them because I've always Bettas of my friends start to deteriorate from fin rot and improper environment.

There was one particular situation that the newsletter helped me out about most. The newsletter gave warnings about health problems with Bettas, and it also provided a remedy! I was able to recognize the signs of pop eye with my own betta, and rid of the his ailment. Thanks to the newsletter, I was able to do see and act on this problem.

Since the newsletter was able to provide me with knowledge about my Bettas, I felt more attached to my Bettas. I think this is why anyway. My two Bettas are healthy, vibrant, and playful, and I can say that "Betta Fish Secrets" newsletter were a part of this.

What I like best about the newsletter is the fact that there is information that I can always refer back to. I had saved each issue in an archive and whenever I have a concern or a question, the newsletter is available for me to look through."

"The Betta Fish Secrets newsletter is a genuinely helpful and informative free media source for Betta owners.

Adam knows Bettas. He probably knows them far better than anyone at your local aquarium shop because he is a specialist rather than a "jack of all trades". Much that is right for common aquarium fish is actually wrong or suboptimal for Bettas. Would you have thought adding salt to a Betta's water was a good thing? Well, it sure is. Salt keeps fin rot diseases away, but the dosage is critical.

Adam will guide you to the proper feeding, environment, temperature and health care for your Betta. My Betta is noticeably happier, more active and healthier since I adopted the simple and inexpensive suggestions found in Betta Fish Secrets. If you dont think a Betta can really be happy, try feeding him some rinsed live brine shrimp. It's as close to a grin as you will ever see on a fish.

There is some irony in my attachment to my Betta, because I used to make my living as a commercial fisherman. I used to hunt fish instead of caring for them and often harvested thousands of pounds in a day. Now things are different, I have an 8 to 5 shore job and a little red and blue pet fish. Nothing is too good for my Betta. I know I am getting expert advice from Betta Fish Secrets, advice that will keep my Betta healthy and maximize his chances for a long and disease free life."

"I loved how much information was given in the texts. I went from knowing next to nothing about Betta fish to now being a breeder of over 35 betta's. When my rare white betta got sick i was so worried but with the careful instructions given in the books and news letters my betta got better in a flash and sold 4 weeks later for a cool 4000$ so i thank everything to "Betta Fish Secrets" and what they have done for me."

"Your website was the most helpful resource that I found for care and habitat information about my betta. Tito was given to me gently used (but still in good condition) and I had very little idea about how to properly take care of him. I found Betta Fish Center online and I read about everything I needed to know! As it turned out, my tank was too small, I didn't have a good water environment and I knew nothing about his strange betta behaviors. After reading the site, I was able to create a better environment for him and suit it more to his needs by following the step by step advice in your newsletter. Now that I had my betta situated, I started to think about how to maintain his health, especially after a somewhat questionable childhood. I found it extremely useful and comforting to read about common betta diseases and I keep a close eye on Tito to make sure he stays safe and healthy. Thank you betta fish center for making it all possible!"

"Betta Fish Secrets helped me very much in my success with my betta. When I first decided to purchase a betta, unfortunately, I went to the worst, careless, and disgusting pet store to buy one. This,of course, was due to the fact that I neglected to do my homework on how to care for these incredible creatures. Fortunately, I just happened to stumble upon this newsletter at bettafishcenter.com. The newsletter provided me with all the relevant information I needed in order to provide for my betta whom is now recovered from his Pet store prison. It explains things easily and simply in order for a greater understanding. This website was creating lovingly and intellectually providing the most important info and so conviently allowed for quick email to better remind and inform on how to care for your friend, the betta."

"Your newsletter has allowed my betta to live a long, healthy and happy life.

Like a lot of people, I happened to get "Marvin" as a gift at a wedding. Being an animal lover, I searched the internet for some information and was fortunate enough to find your site.

I signed up for the newsletter, read them completely, and always looked forward to the next one.

Two of the best ideas I took away from them were to watch the water temp and not to sterilize the tank. I immediately went out and bought an inexpensive thermometer, but it made a huge difference when replacing the water and making sure the temperature is high enough to keep the fish happy. Not having a lot of experience with fish, I didn't really understand the benefit bacteria give to the fish, but reading your newsletter enlightened me. Leaving 25% of the water in, I believe, has allowed Marvin to stay happy."

"I was given a betta fish in July 2007. I didn't want it and mainly didn't do much with it. I even named it Menace because he was a menace to other fish and a menace to me. (I had to take care of him.) Menace lived for 8 months and died. I noticed him becoming listless and his fin flopping to one side but didn't know what to do. I searched the web and found some hints but nothing definitive. Then he got popeye and within 4 hours, died. I was so sad. I had grown attached to having him around. So, I went out and bought anther Betta. But not before I signed up for your Betta Fish Secrets newsletter. I didn't want to have anther death and wanted to make sure I did it right this time. I have looked forward to getting the tips and have made sure I've saved them. I want this Betta, Mendelsohn, to live the 2 or 3 or 4 years. I am particularly interested in the how to tell if you betta is sick email since that is important on an ongoing basis. I noticed the water temperature should be maintained at around 80? so I am using a water heater to keep the temperature regulated to 76?.

They fish are low maintenance pets and while that may be true, I like having a resource I can use to make keeping Mendelsohn low maintenance. The tips in your newsletter
helped me set up the proper environment to keep it low maintenance. Now I can relax again and enjoy watching and talking to Mendelsohn. THANKS for all your tips.

"Hello, My name is Sherry and the picture is Cash, my beta friend, when I first got him I knew NOTHING about fish as pets, I just walked into a store one day and thought he was gorgeous for a fish, And like I said I knew nothing about him so I went to the internet and Googled, I found this website, and the fish forum, So I thought I would start asking questions, that I needed to know about how to care for a fish and make it live!! And I was amazed at how quick I got a response with answers to my questions, On what to feed him, the water temp, the ph, everything. I have to say if It wasn't for this website I'm afraid Cash wouldn't have survived this long, And most of the time I don't even have to ask the question, as many people that are on this site, they have questions also, I just read and get the answers I need, I have learned a lot about fish, And I just wanted to say Thank you for having a website that has so much information. And it is also fun, I look forward to going to the website and learning what I need to know to keep my friend happy and healthy!"

"I have always admired betta fish from afar. I thought they were beautiful, regal. However, I never thought I would own one. Well, Rudy came to me by surprise. I won him while at a conference. Problem was, I did not know what to do with a betta fish. I only knew you were not to put two in the same space or they would fight. I wanted to take care of Rudy in the right way, so I headed to the Internet. I googled and found www.BettaFishCenter.com. The Betta Fish Center provided valuable information about caring for my betta. There was also very interesting information about a variety of subject. I really found it facinating to find out bettas have a personality. I love Rudy's personality. He gets excited when he sees me coming and he loves to watch me cook. He puffs his fins and tail and swims up and down the bowl. The betta care tips also helped me understand the importance of keeping the water clean and conditioned. I really appreciate having a resource as comprehensive as the one I found. Rudy is healthy and happy because of the information fr om the Betta Fish Center. I thank you and Rudy does too."

"Adam I am so pleased to have found your site on Betta tips. I failed at raising a couple of Bettas in the past and was determined to get educated (really educated, I thought I was) before purchasing another Betta. So I followed your tips starting with a 10 gal. acrylic tank. You are one of the few who recommends nothing less than 10 gallons. One would think that's alot of room for one little fish but, as you say, it's the only way to maintain the proper water conditions. That happy, healthy little red fish of ours (Elmo) is fascinating to wash in his beautiful domain full of plants and rocks. His contentment brings out his personality. He loves to watch me when I'm at my computer and begs for his dinner. I have had Elmo for several months now, much longer then the ones in the past. You make it so easy to provide a healthy enviorment for this little creature who deserves a quality life as much as anyone. It's nice to know that anytime I have a question your information is so easily available. I also enjoy the fact that other people out there consider their Betta their "Pet"! Your really doing some good work and a great job of it. Every time I buy a Betta I feel like I've saved it from a doomed life and that's especially so, armed with all the information I continue to learn from you. I hope no one will consider purchasing or keeping Bettas without visiting your site, receiving your informative and interesting newsletters. Thank you Adam!"

"I Enjoyed getting the news letter, there were items in it that not only myself but others may have wondered about but have been to bashful to inquire about, the information on health and care for bettas was amazing, even if it were things I have read before, it was nice to see that this newsletter allows you to read over it at your own pace! the newsletter is also very easy to understand and follow! I love getting the "new"newsletter!"

"I just wanted to thank you for making such excellent information available FREE OF CHARGE to us once upon a time ignorant Betta owners!!!

My teen-age son purchased a "Betta in a Vase" for me for a Christmas gift. I thought it was beautiful, but being an animal lover, I had a hunch that the Betta would be happier with more space.

Not having "a clue" about Bettas, I searched the internet to find out what I could learn about Betta care. After I signed up for your email list, I literally LOOKED FORWARD to receiving the next tip of the day. And when it arrived I was extremely pleased with the content. It's the best and clearest information I've ever read on betta fish care.

I was EAGER to learn AND APPLY all the GREAT information that you sent my way!

When I got him, my Betta was hardly active at all in his Vase. He just stayed at the bottom most of the time and since I didn't know a thing about them, I told the children that maybe he was just an older fish.

I went to our basement and dug out a small aquariam, scrubbed it up and filled it with room temperature water. After I put him in, he just swam and swam and swam! The children and I were DELIGHTED!!!

Another thing I didn't know is that he had ALREADY lost A LOT of his color before he was given to me. After I put him in a larger tank and added a bit of celtic grey sea salt to the water, his color started to increase. Now he is MUCH darker in color and quite beautiful. I can thank your newsletter for giving my betta a great environment where he's happy and healthy.

He enjoys his little plant to hide in and has gotten better and better at hiding himself in it!

I did some reading about their natural state in the wild and found out that Bettas enjoy slow flowing streams. He REALLY enjoys the gentle flow that comes from the filter/water pump. Actually, the filter was unplugged for a few days and when I plugged it back in, he happily floated on the current!

His little vase used to sit on the table, now his small aquariam sits on the kitchen counter, near an East facing window and by my sink. I don't have a dishwasher, so he has added quite a bit of joy to the time I spend washing dishes.

Thanks for all the SUPER advice, Adam!!!

Thanks again!!!"

"Man I do have to say that the "Betta Fish Secrets" newsletter has been more the resourceful...I have had various questions that have boggled my mind like, "How do I know when my beta is happy" or "how often should I feed it." All in all, the online guide has been a great help for me and my family since it is emailed to me on a constant basis. I mean if Im out of town or on a business trip, the emails are always there for the family's knowledge. We actually have the website on our favorites list so we can always see whats going on with our beta. Our beta has been kicking since Christmas of 06 and he looks as happy as a clam!!!

Thanks for the words of wisdom, helpful tid-bits of information and love that we all as beta owners can use to keep our betas Beautiful and brilliantly happy!!!"

"When I first bought my betta I wasn't sure how to best keep it and what to look for regarding its health and if it was happy. It started getting lethargic so I turned to the internet to get answers. Betta Fish Center gave very good, comprehensive info for general conditions that best suit the betta. I learned more about better foods and the environment in which the betta thrives in.

Thanks to the internet when one is seeking answers, and thanks to Betta Fish Center for providing great info for me to give my betta the best care I can."

" I am so glad that you have taken the time to help me with my Betta fish. I was a beginner and the fish are so beautiful. I had no ideas untill I heard from the many caring people writing in to your site that I finally found out what I was doing wrong with my Betta. Your help was perfect because I learned about the proper water needed to have a healthy environment so I could save my fish. It was very sick but because of you informative articles I have learned so much. In appreciation. I am grateful.

"Betta Fish Center really helped me make a better environment for my two beta fish. When I needed some tips on how to specially care for my fish, I went to google to find a site on care and environment for my betas. This site was one of the first ones, but I went to seven or eight other sites before looking at this one. I really enjoyed getting the emails that gave me tips on how to care for my betas. The most helpful thing for me was the email where I found out how to make my beta comfortable. I liked getting the emails. I looked forward to getting a new one every week. Thank you for your help!!"
