Betta Anabatoides
The common name of this fish is the Giant Betta, known since 1851 from the freshwaters of Borneo. It grows to up to 12 inches. It is important to markets for its commercial values in both fisheries and for aquariums. The water it prefers is of a pH of 4.5 to 4.8. The tropical environment it prefers yields temperatures of 27-30° C. They are also called Pearly Betta and Large Unspotted.
