Betta Chini
A medium size of the species, Betta Chini is about 5 centimeters on average. Female Betta Chini are slightly larger than the males on average, at a size of about 5.6 centimeters. They live in water about 1 meter deep in Sagah in Borneo and East Malaysia. They live in shallow peat swamps covered with peat, leaves and other plant debris. This would indicate the water would be dark with tannins.
