Betta Hipposideros
Only known to be found in the Malaysian region of Selangor and Perak, the Betta Hipposideros, this fish is found in the backwater swamps where peat and leaves rest on the surface. The larger of the species are found in the flowing sections of the blackwater streams and the smaller ones enjoy the pools where the flow of water is slower. They are considered vulnerable as listed on the endangered species list. The largest of the Betta Hipposideros will grow to about 7.5 centimeters.
