Betta Pi
The Betta Pi of the Waseri groups are about 6 centimeters in length and live in the freshwater tropics of Thailand. Many differences make this Waseri Betta stand out. For instance, the Betta Pi has a pie shaped black pattern on its throat. There is pronounced long stripe on the anal fin and a distinctive dark blue margin on the anal fin of both sexes of Betta Pi. They are collected from swamps that have very soft and deep substrate, found in the open area of a peat swamp forest that has a clearing to allow for greater light.
