Betta Rubra
The close cousin to the Betta Foerschi is the Betta Rubra is commonly called Tobra Betta. They are a popular fish for tropical aquariums found in Indonesia and sold commercially. They breed by building a bubble nest, rather than as mouthbrooders. Originally known to be from Lake Toba in Sumatra, they are about 5 centimeters in length as the largest adult size.
