i just orderd a brine shrimp hatchery an any info about that like how many or how much will grasshopper eat how long will they live an can i just put eggs in tank will they hatch?? thank you :?:

Hi!

No, you should not put the eggs in your Betta's tank. You should set up a hatchery for your brine shrimp. You can do this my turning a 2 liter soda bottle upside down and cutting off the bottom. You need to keep the water warm, salted and circulating.

Once your shrimp hatch, you need to siphon out the egg shells and dead baby brine shrimp. You can feed your Betta baby brine or you can raise your brine to adult hood. Do not be put off if most of the shrimp die before adulthood. Baby brine shrimp do not need to be fed right away but, as they start to grow, you are going to need to feed them yeast.

Do not feed your Betta any more then the size of his eye.
