I am CJ Nana, just CJ for short. my new Betta is a red half moon named Brutus. Brutus, really? That is what came though when we were nose to nose in the shop. He is at home in his cycled 5 gal. Solo tank which is moderately planted and he has two beautiful pieces of driftwood, one reddish brown with beautiful graining and the other very dark, almost black with an Anubias growing from a hole in the wood,. He is active and eats his pellets immediately, no pussy footing around..I siphon every other day, lightly and replace conditioned tap or spring water. I want Brutus to have a long life so my question is, in an 11 inch cube tank and two swords at opposite ends, is it safe to use Seachem Flourish tabs in the substrate.near each of the two swords? I'm a little gun-shy since my earlier Betta died on Easter Morn. I think Stress Gard pushed him over the edge. I have just purchased Seachem's Prime which will be my water conditioner from now on.
any comments or words of wisdom? I have purchased and read Adam's book on Kindle.

Personally, I haven't use it, but for most this seems to be a great product. They work well when growing plants in a sand substrate.
