Tetra Safe Start

Postby Carol » Fri Aug 23, 2013 1:01 pm

Was wondering if I should use this when I set up my new tank. It's only a two gallon, so I can't really cycle it. If nothing else, I thought it might aleviate some of the stress of a new environment for my little buddy. Has anyone used this, or what would you recommend for a new tank and new fish owner. Also, how long should I run the tank before getting the fish? Is testing the water really necessary for a 2 gallon tank??

If you are not cycling your tank then it is not worth getting. Many people have used this product to jump start their cycles but that is the main purpose of the product. Keeping up with your water changes and using a good quality water conditioner will be what you need to lower stress and maintain a good home.
